Padel tennis - the trend in Latin America - is now also available at the Sporthotel Zoll! You can play on two brand new padel courts every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thanks to our floodlights, darkness will not prevent you from playing! To make your game even more fun, you can rent all the necessary equipment at the hotel, including balls and rackets. Whether you are an experienced player or a beginner, with us you will find the perfect way to enjoy padel!
1. rules of the game and scoring system
Padel tennis is played with 4 players (2 teams) on a 10x20 metre court. The scoring system corresponds to that of tennis (15, 30, 40, game), a set goes to 6, at 6-6 there is a tie-break. Usually a match is played over two winning sets.
2. service and playing field
The serve is made from below and must land diagonally in the opponent's service area. The ball can touch the glass walls, but not the fence. The court is surrounded by glass walls that can be actively integrated into the game.
3. match progress and errors
The teams take it in turns to hit the ball; the ball must touch the walls when it reaches the opponent's court. An error is committed if the ball ends up in the net, is hit twice or touches the net. The ball can also be hit above the net, as long as the net is not touched.
